In recent years, the potential of quantum computing applications across a variety of sectors and fields has led to increased experimentation and innovation, while also encouraging novel investments. Unfortunately, the complexity and novelty of the field, along with the lack of thorough tools, methodologies, and infrastructure required for the development of novel quantum computing solutions, have constrained it. The EU-funded QEC4QEA project will develop an extensive suite of resources, including a variety of tools, specialised training, and key infrastructure, such as APIs, compilers, hardware-agnostic application libraries, and so on. Furthermore, this suite will foster collaborations between academia and industry, provide key assistance to developers and scientists, and enable the practical and efficient growth of the sector.
